In Clown Mask, Boy With Baseball Bat Scares Kids at Sterling Playground: LCSO
A group of children were frightened by a boy, 12, who was allegedly wearing a clown mask and carrying a baseball bat as a prank.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 12-year-old boy was reportedly scaring children at a Sterling playground while wearing a clown mask and carrying a baseball bat on Oct. 16 at 5:57 p.m., according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
A LCSO spokesperson said that deputies responded to the area of Commerce Street and Enterprise Street in Sterling for a report of an unknown subject who was wearing a clown mask and carrying a baseball bat.
One of the children had run home and told his parents that the clown masked boy was frightening the children at the playground.

The 12-year-old was identified as being involved in the incident and told deputies it had been a prank.
The case is pending with the Commonwealth Attorney's Office, according to the spokesperson.
