Gardner, who signed a lease for a 6,500-square-foot restaurant space chose the new lifestyle center because of its similarities to Shirlington Village in Arlington.
The restaurant will feature a large patio and outside bar at the new location specializes in seasonal American small plates, we feature prime cuts of local game, farm-raised poultry, beef and fresh fish accompanied with hearty, family-style sides.

“People can look forward to a scratch kitchen with farm to table ingredients, a Craft bar featuring 20 Virginia draft beers, seasonal handcrafted cocktails, and moonshine,” Gardner told Patch.com.
The style of restaurant, upscale casual but with a theme, is similar to its Shirlington location which was inspired by a hunting cabin Gardner used to visit in Southern Virginia.
“There are lots of excited people who have already been to my Copperwood in Shirlington, who live in Loudoun County,” he added.
Gardner also owns Copperwood Tavern in Arlington, Union Social, Orange Anchor, Irish Whiskey and Dudley’s Sport & Ale.
