ASHBURN, VA — Copperwood Tavern opened its doors in One Loudoun on Wednesday, Sept. 14. Situated at 20465 Exchange Street, Ashburn, it's the second location for Copperwood Tavern, with the initial restaurant in Arlington.

With a woodsy, cabin-style decor, the farm-to-table restaurant serves locally sourced produce, meats and seafood. Home-style menu items change seasonally using the freshest available produce.

Owner Reese Gardner said that inspiration for the restaurant's concept came from his frequent visits with his dog to a favorite cabin spot. "Prior to our trips, we would load up my truck with great food, beer and wine to enjoy with friends. I always felt that it I could somehow recreate the cozy cabin feel with home style cooking, people would enjoy it as much as I did."
