Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to Open Loudoun Location
Dallas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit is planning to open a location in Loudoun County in Fall 2017.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Dallas-based Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is planning to open a location in Loudoun County in Fall 2017, according to a Dickey's Barbecue Pit announcement. The exact location has not yet been announced. It will be the sixth Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in the Northern Virginia, in addition to Alexandria, Centreville, Fairfax, Fredericksburg and Vienna.
Founded in 1941 by Travis Dickey, Dickey's Barbecue Pit has expanded to more than 570 locations in 43 states.
The new Loudoun County store’s owner, Chris Mills, will open the Texas-style slow-cooked barbecue restaurant. Mills is a local resident and graduate of George Mason University.
