Elderly Man Hit By Vehicle, Airlifted to Hospital: LCSO
A man, 83, was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a road in Ashburn.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA— An 83-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Ashburn on Nov. 10 at 7:05 a.m., according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say the man was walking his bicycle across a crosswalk when he was struck by the driver of a 2016 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on Gloucester Parkway near Smith Switch Road.
The victim was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening injuries.

The driver, August L. Amurao, 55, of Ashburn was charged with reckless driving, according to the LCSO.
