Fleetwood Road In Aldie To Close This Week For Pipe Replacement

ALDIE, VA — Fleetwood Road (Route 616) at Route 50 (John S. Mosby Highway) will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day so crews can replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach residences along Fleetwood Road will have access via Evergreen Mills Road and side streets; however, southbound Fleetwood Road traffic cannot go beyond the point of pipe replacement to access Route 50. In addition, Route 50 traffic will not be able to turn onto Fleetwood Road.

Through traffic will be detoured via Route 50 and Everfield Drive back to Fleetwood Road
