Girl Scout Cadette earns Silver Award

GS Cadette earns Silver Award through building a little library.

Kristina of Girl Scout Cadette Troop 5809 earned her Girl Scout Silver Award by constructing a little free library at Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital. The Silver Award is the highest award that a Cadette level Girl Scout can earn. It is earned by completing at least 50 hours on a project of lasting impact.

Kristina worked with Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital to identify the location at their site. She designed, constructed and installed the little library to repay the generosity of the many amazing books she received as gifts through the years.

Thank you for your efforts to bring this library to the neighborhood – Well done, Kristina!
