Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Parking Garage Plans for Metrorail Station

The beginning and conclusion of the closed meeting will be broadcasted live on selected local channels in Loudoun County Jan. 20.

Portions of a special meeting regarding a new parking garage in Ashburn will be broadcasted live to the public.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors will discuss the award of public contracts in relation to the new parking garage planned for the Route 772 Silver Line Metrorail station at 6 p.m. Jan. 20.

Held at the Loudoun County Government Center, the beginning and conclusion of the meeting will be broadcasted live on the following channels:

No formal action is expected to be made during the meeting, however, the special meeting will be televised once the session is certified. The Board will gather for its regular meeting at 4 p.m. Jan. 21 where the issue is likely to be acted on.

A public hearing by the Loudoun County Planning Commission is scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 20 at the government center as well. The meeting will also be broadcasted on the webcast system online and replay on the channels listed above at noon Jan. 21 and 6 p.m. Jan. 22.
