The LCHIP/LCHRP programs provide funds to renovate and repair the primary residence of low-to-moderate income homeowners. LCHRP loans have a ten or twenty-year term with a zero to four percent interest rate. Repairs and renovations can include correcting code violations, addressing health and safety issues, and making the home more energy efficient.
Additional repairs can include plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and interior/exterior components. All work is performed by licensed, bonded and insured contractors.
The HRED program provides a one-time grant of up to $5,000 in assistance for emergency repairs and/or accessibility needs. Repairs and renovations include addressing health/safety issues and accessibility repairs.
