ASHBURN, VA — A Sterling man who was last seen Monday afternoon near Providence Village Drive and who was believed to be in danger has returned home and is safe, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Department reported Monday night.

Albert Vandegriek, 89, was considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns, police said before saying that he had returned to his home.
