Loudoun County 'Meet the Employer' Event Set for Jan. 19

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center is hosting a “Meet the Employer” event featuring representatives from the Loudoun County government’s Department of Human Resources on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at the Rust Library in Leesburg. The Loudoun County government is hiring more than 60 positions in multiple departments.

The positions include transportation and land use planners; child protective services workers; civil, traffic and transportation engineers; library staff; sheriff’s deputies; parks and recreation facility supervisors; and more.

The event will provide job seekers the opportunity to drop by the Rust Library at 380 Old Waterford Road, N.W. in Leesburg from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017, to discuss specific county government job opportunities and to promote their qualifications with a Loudoun County human resources representative. The Workforce Resource Center located at 102 Heritage Way, N.E. in Leesburg also offers a number of career readiness workshops to prepare job seekers for the event. Walk-in resume critiques are available Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
