Loudoun County Parkway Reopens After Tractor Trailer Crash: Cops
The northbound lanes of Loudoun County Parkway at Arcola Mills Drive were shut down for several hours after a tractor trailer overturned.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Northbound Loudoun County Parkway was shut down at Arcola Mills Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Northbound traffic was limited to a crawl for three hours.
Traffic lanes finally reopened at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Officials first reported the incident on Facebook at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
At 5 p.m. on Tuesday, traffic was still kept to a standstill just outside of the Dulles Landing Shopping Center, according to Waze.

Southbound Loudoun County Parkway was not affected. Dulles West Boulevard was right turn only onto southbound Loudoun County Parkway. Arcola Mills Drive was right turn only onto southbound Loudoun County Parkway.
Authorities did not disclose whether anyone was injured in the crash that caused the tractor trailer to roll onto its side. On Facebook, one resident reported being stuck in traffic for an hour and a half. Andrea Taylor wrote that "it looked as if the truck was facing the wrong direction."
