Loudoun County Schools Change Schedule Due To Snow And Ice

The current weather conditions have forced Loudoun County Public Schools to change their planned events on Friday, Feb. 19.

ASHBURN, VA — Loudoun County schools are still dealing with Thursday's snowstorm that dumped snow and ice across the region. The continued weather conditions have changed Loudoun County Public School schedules for Friday, Feb. 19.

All Loudoun County Public Schools and administrative offices are closed Friday, and all distance-learning classes are canceled, according to an announcement by the school system. Instructional staff should not report to work. There will be no food pick-up at LCPS schools.

All activities on school campuses have been cancelled, as well.

Loudoun County's vaccination POD at Brambleton Middle School will open at 9 a.m. on Friday. School employees who had a vaccination appointment scheduled on Friday will receive a follow-up message with information about the status of their appointment.
