The organization will receive the school district's first ever Legacy Award on Friday morning in Leesburg.

On Friday, Loudoun County Public Schools will award the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation the first ever Legacy Award for outstanding contributions to local students.
The presentation will take place at the National Conference Center in Leesburg at 8 a.m.
In addition to helping provide a new turf for the sports fields at Park View High School in Sterling, LCPS says the Redskins have gone above and beyond to support the school district over the past several years, including donating school supplies and supporting reading and physical activity programs such as the Redskins Read Program and the Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
