LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Health Department has vaccinated everyone age 65 or older on the county's waitlist. The county has also adjusted its waitlist numbers to account for people who registered on the state's coronavirus vaccine website.

Anyone who is 65 or older is now being scheduled for vaccination appointments as soon as possible after their registration, the health department said. Any registered individual over the age of 64 who has not been contacted for an appointment should call the Loudoun County Health Department at 703-737-8300.

Over the weekend, the county administered more than 17,000 vaccines. Now, the county will vaccinate eligible individuals who pre-registered on Feb. 12.

Monday's update said there are now 100,115 people remaining on the waitlist. This update was the first to account for residents who registered with the state, instead of only counting people who registered with the county-specific waitlist that was discontinued in February.

"Previously, we were unable to report accurate waitlist totals due to glitches in the recently launched statewide pre-registration system," the health department said on Monday. "We are now able to report a complete waitlist total, which includes both pre-registrations from the statewide system and any remaining pre-registrations that were submitted to the Loudoun County Health Department."
