Student Attempted Suicide at Stone Bridge High Wednesday
The student is in critical condition Wednesday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA — A student attempted suicide at Stone Bridge High School on Wednesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The student was located by school personnel shortly after 9:30 a.m. in a secluded area of the school, according to a sheriff's office statement.
The student was transported to Inova Loudoun Hospital and later taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition as of Wednesday afternoon.

No further details have been released regarding the student. There was no threat to the school, according to deputies, and no other students were involved.

The Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center, located at 102 Heritage Way (Shenandoah Building), Leesburg, Virginia, is open for walk-ins from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Mental health professionals are available for anyone in crisis.
