Loudoun Election 2016: Results in Presidential, Local Races
Voters had their say in the presidential election, as well as local races. Here are the latest results.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Polls closed in Virginia at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 and the votes have been counted.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, according to Loudoun County's unofficial results, Clinton received the most votes in Loudoun County with 99,908 votes to 69,633 votes for Trump. Here's the break down of votes:
- Democratic Party: Clinton/Kaine: 99,908 (54.76%)
- Republican Party: Trump/Pence: 69,633 (38.16%)
- Libertarian Party: Johnson/Weld: 5,611 (3.08%)
- Green Party: Stein/Baraka: 1,304 (0.71%)
- Independent Party: McMullin/Johnson: 3,378 (1.85%)
- Write-In: 1,886 (1.03%)
- Blank Votes: 689 (0.38%)
- Over Votes: 50 (0.03%)

Incumbent Barbara Comstock edged out challenger LuAnn Bennett for the 10th Congressional seat in Loudoun County by a slim margin of only 75 votes.

District wide, Comstock obtained 43,509 votes to 37,862 cast for Bennett out of 114,192 total votes.
Here's the break down of votes in Loudoun County:
- Barbara Jean Comstock (R): 88,854
- LuAnn L. Bennett (D): 88,779
- Write-In: 684
- Blank Votes: 3,858
- Over Votes: 28

In the Town of Leesburg Mayoral race, with 100 percent of precincts reporting, C. B. "Kelly" Burk won with 8,295 votes. Here's the break down of votes:
- C. B. "Kelly" Burk: 8,295
- David S. "Dave" Butler: 5,480
- Kevin D. Wright: 5,667
- Write-In: 125
- Blank Votes: 1,459
- Over Votes: 2
Here's the Town of Leesburg Member Town Council unofficial results:
- R. E. "Ron" Campbell: 7,182
- Thomas S. "Tom" Dunn II: 7,065
- Katie Sheldon Hammler: 6,936
- John H. Hilton: 4,603
- Evan D. Macbeth: 6,107
- Gwen H. Pangle: 7,024
- Kenneth D. "Ken" Reid: 7,404
- Blank Votes: 15,472
- Other Votes: 21

According to the Loudoun County Government, the total voter turnout in the County was 182,459, which is 76.18% of the total 239,498 registered voters.
As of approximately 4 p.m. on Nov.8, turnout was at 52.79 percent, according to Glen Barbour, Public Affairs and Communications Officer, Loudoun County.
Most precincts opened their doors to long lines of people who had arrived before 6 a.m. The rush reportedly went down at most Loudoun precincts by about 7:30 a.m. and then it was "steady without long lines" throughout the day, according to the station chiefs at three precincts in Ashburn and three in Leesburg.
No significant incidents occurred at any of the polling places, according to a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) spokesperson.
