Loudoun Man Shoots Himself Accidentally: LCSO

A Sterling man was transported to a hospital after he accidentally shot himself while unloading his gun, according to the LCSO.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Sterling man accidentally shot himself while unloading his gun, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Deputies say that on Sept. 17, LCSO responded to a residence located in the 20000 block of Quiet Brook Place in Sterling for a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The victim was unloading their handgun when the gun discharged.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the LCSO.
