Drivers are needed to deliver noontime meals to people confined to their homes in Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville and Sterling.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Home Delivered Meals Program, administered by the Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging, "urgently needs" volunteers 18 and older to deliver noontime meals to people confined to their homes, the agency said Thursday.

Drivers are needed weekdays in Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville and Sterling. People who can volunteer only two hours a week or a month are welcome to apply to volunteer, the agency said.

Home Delivered Meals Program volunteers use their own vehicles to deliver the meals along a specified route.
