Loudoun County Ballot Voter Guide: Nov. 8, 2016 General Election
Here's the list of all of the candidates and questions that will appear on the Nov. 8 General Election ballot in Loudoun County.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Here's the list of all of the candidates and questions that will appear on the Loudoun County ballot for the Nov. 8 General Election, according to the Loudoun County Government.
In addition to selecting the President and Vice President of the United States and the 10th District Congressional Representative, on the ballot will be 2 proposed Amendments to the Constitution of Virginia and 4 Loudoun County Bond Questions.
Voters in the towns of Hillsboro and Leesburg will vote for Mayor and Members of Town Council. The Circuit Court has also called a Special Election in the Town of Middleburg on this date for the purpose of electing a Town Council Member to fill one recently vacated seat for a term to end June 30, 2018.

Proposed Constitutional Amendments (vote Yes or No on each)
Question 1: Should Article I of the Constitution of Virginia be amended to prohibit any agreement or combination between an employer and a labor union or labor organization whereby (i) nonmembers of the union or organization are denied the right to work for the employer, (ii) membership to the union or organization is made a condition of employment or continuation of employment by such employer, or (iii) the union or organization acquires an employment monopoly in any such enterprise?
Question 2: Shall the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to provide an option to the localities to exempt from taxation the real property of the surviving spouse of any law enforcement officer, firefighter, search and rescue personnel, or emergency medical services personnel who was killed in the line of duty, where the surviving spouse occupies the real property as his or her principal place of residence and has not remarried?
Loudoun County Bond Questions (vote Yes or No on each)
Parks and Recreation Projects - QUESTION: Shall the County of Loudoun, Virginia contract a debt and issue its general obligation capital improvement bonds in the maximum principal amount of $76,115,000 to finance, in whole or in part, the costs to design, construct and equip a recreation and community center in Ashburn, Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park in the Blue Ridge District, and other public park, recreational and community center facilities approved in the County's Capital Improvement Program?
Public Safety Projects - QUESTION: Shall the County of Loudoun, Virginia contract a debt and issue its general obligation capital improvement bonds in the maximum principal amount of $17,500,000 to finance, in whole or in part, the costs to design, construct and equip the expansion of the Leesburg Fire and Rescue Station (#20); and the costs to design, construct and equip the replacement of the Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Station (#12); and the costs of other public safety facilities approved in the County's Capital Improvement Program?
Transportation Projects - QUESTION: Shall the County of Loudoun, Virginia contract a debt and issue its general obligation capital improvement bonds in the maximum principal amount of $18,000,000 to finance, in whole or in part, the costs to design and construct improvements to Shellhorn Road; the costs to design and construct improvements at the intersection of Braddock Road and Supreme Drive/Summerall Drive; the costs to design and construct an interchange at Route 7 and Route 690; and the costs of other public road and transportation projects approved in the County's Capital Improvement Program?
School Projects - QUESTION: Shall the County of Loudoun, Virginia contract a debt and issue its general obligation capital improvement bonds in the maximum principal amount of $233,070,000 to finance, in whole or in part, the costs to design, construct and equip ES-28, Dulles South Area Elementary School; the costs to design, construct and equip three classroom additions to six elementary schools in the Dulles North and South planning areas; the costs to design, construct and equip MS-7, Dulles South Area Middle School; the costs to design, construct and equip HS-9, Dulles South Area High School; and the costs of other public school facilities as requested by the Loudoun County School Board?
