Loudoun's 'Goodstone Inn & Estate Restaurant' Ranks on Top 100 Nationwide List

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Loudoun County restaurant, The Goodstone Inn & Estate, was named in OpenTable's "100 Best Restaurants in America Based on Diner Reviews." Regionally, 3 additional Northern Virginia restaurants and 3 restaurants in Washington, D.C. placed on the list.

OpenTable unveiled the 100 Best Restaurants in America for 2016 on Dec. 1.

The awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 10 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 24,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, according to OpenTable.

"The common thread running through this list of winning restaurants is excellence in hospitality," said Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer. "Whether creating one-of-a-kind fine-dining experiences or serving up incredible fare in a more casual setting, this year's honorees are consistently earning rave reviews from diners."

Located in Middleburg, The Goodstone Inn & Estate Restaurant, features a refined approach to French Country cuisine keeping to traditional and classical techniques. The innovative farm-to-table cuisine and the pastoral setting on a 265-acre estate in Virginia's wine and hunt country provide a unique dining experience for restaurant guests.

"We are a working farm and produce quite a bit of ingredients right here at Goodstone Inn. This would include fruits and vegetables, eggs from our chickens and honey from our bees," according to Emily Miller, Goodstone Inn & Estate Restaurant's manager of marketing of public relations.

The Goodstone Inn & Estate Restaurant also won a 2016 Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine.
