Manassas Park Man Charged With Raping Sterling Teen: Police

A man from Manassas Park was arrested after he was accused of raping a teenager that he met on social media last month, police said.

Eddeer Cruz Quinones, a 23-year-old Manassas Park Resident, has been charged with two counts of rape and two counts of sodomy after an underaged girl said he raped her in a vehicle on Saturday, June 12, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — A man from Manassas Park has been charged with the rape of an underaged girl from Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Now, police are looking to speak with other people who may have been victimized.

Authorities identified the man as Eddeer Cruz Quinones, a 23-year-old Manassas Park resident. The alleged rape occurred on Saturday, June 12 in Sterling, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

"The teenage victim reported that she met a male, who went by the name of Eddie Cruz on social media," the sheriff's office said. Authorities said they reached an arrangement "that the male would provide alcohol and marijuana to her and her friends in exchange for hanging out."

On Saturday, June 12, police claimed that Cruz Quinones met the teen in Sterling and gave her alcohol before sexually assaulting her. Investigators believed the assault occurred in the 20000 block of Hawick Terrace in Sterling.

After their investigation, Cruz Quinones was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sodomy, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Detectives are asking other underaged people who may have had contact with Cruz Quinones to come forward.
