Masked Man Wielding Knife Attempts to Rob 7-Eleven in Sterling: LCSO

A 7-Eleven employee at a Sterling store struggled with a knife wielding man wearing a mask and prevented him from robbing the store.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A male subject wearing a mask reportedly entered the 7-Eleven store located in the 700 block of W. Church Road in Sterling and pulled out a knife, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Deputies say the incident was reported by a 7-Eleven employee to have occurred on Oct. 23 at 1:43 a.m.

The subject left empty handed after a struggle with an employee.

The employee was not injured.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male about 5’3", with a skinny frame.

He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and work boots.

This case is pending, according to the LCSO.

A similar incident with a masked man attempting to unsuccessfully rob a Sterling Starbuck's occurred on Oct. 22 at 8:47 a.m. The suspects have different descriptions, according to the LCSO.
