McGruff Safety Camp Registration April 15 In Loudoun County

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—Dates for the widely popular McGruff Safety Camp have been announced: June 24-28 at Countryside Elementary School in Sterling (2064 Countryside Boulevard) and July 8-12 and 15-19 at Evergreen Mill Elementary School in Leesburg (491 Evergreen Mill Boulevard). Morning sessions run from 8:30-11 a.m.; afternoon sessions, 12:30-3 p.m.

Begun in 1988, the camps are a joint effort between the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System. Kids entering kindergarten and first grade will learn about safety topics such as fire safety, bicycle safety and 911 emergencies.
