Motorcyclist Arrested After Lengthy Police Chase: Police
With the assistance of police helicopters, multiple police units chased a motorcycle rider for more than hour in Loudoun County on Nov. 11.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The lengthy police pursuit of a motorcycle in Loudoun County on Friday afternoon, Nov. 11, has ended in an arrest, according to an announcement by the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD).
Police say that Anders N. Kinsler, 20, of Sterling, Va. was charged with reckless driving and eluding police by a Fairfax County officer. The officer initially attempted to stop the motorcycle for not having registration displayed on the vehicle.
The traffic pursuit began at about 4:35 p.m. Friday, after a patrol officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation in the Chantilly area.

The rider failed to yield to the officer and a traffic pursuit began. The pursuit continued into Loudoun County; Virginia State Troopers and Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies assumed the pursuit. The Fairfax Police helicopter was in the area, followed the suspect and updated officers on the ground. U.S. Park Police helicopters assisted us as well.
The pursuit continued for just over an hour as officers chased the suspect and police helicopters remained overhead. Around 5:40 p.m., the suspect stopped on the side of the road and surrendered voluntarily to police in the area of Route 7 eastbound and Belmont Ridge Road, in Loudoun County.

Troopers and Loudoun deputies took him into custody without incident, according to the FCPD.
