Motorist Crashes into Building in Sterling: LCSO
A motorist crashed into a building in Sterling, saying that she mistook the accelerator for the brake pedal, according to law enforcement.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A motorist crashed into a building in Sterling, saying that she mistook the accelerator for the brake pedal, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say that LCSO responded to the location of South Sterling Blvd. in Sterling on Oct. 10 to the report of a crash involving a vehicle into a building.
Upon arrival, deputies were advised that a female suspect had fled the scene.

LCSO made contact with the female driver who stated that she mistaken the accelerator for the brake pedal.
The driver was cited with a Reckless Driving summons, according to the LCSO.
