Motorist Hits School Bus in Ashburn: LCSO
A motorist disregarded a stop sign in Ashburn on Dec. 2 and crashed into a school bus carrying children.

ASHBURN, VA — A motorist disregarded a stop sign in Ashburn on Dec. 2 and crashed into a school bus carrying children, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
LCSO responded to the location of Faulkner Pkwy and Hemingway Drive in Ashburn in reference to a Loudoun County Public School bus being involved in a crash.
Deputies say the driver of the second vehicle disregarded the stop sign and struck the school bus.

The driver of a passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and
the children were checked out and released.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was cited for Reckless Driving as result of the crash, according to the LCSO.
