StoneSprings Hospital Center began construction on new behavior health facilities that will help residents and bring 25 jobs to the area.

DULLES, VA — The StoneSprings Hospital Center began construction on new behavioral health facilities in Dulles. A 17-bed inpatient behavioral health center and an outpatient clinic will help residents when they open in the fall, according to a news release.
The new behavioral health unit is a renovation of space that already existed, the hospital center said. The facility will occupy more than 9,000 square feet and will provide treatment for emotional disorders, mental illness, and substance abuse.
Cynthia Benbow is the executive director of StoneSprings Hospital's behavioral health services. "I am very excited to begin networking with local businesses and community organizations in identifying the mental health needs in our community and throughout Loudoun County," Benbow said. "We are dedicated to helping our patients find their path to recovery through individual therapy, group counseling, medication management and other evidenced based treatment methods."

"There is a demonstrated and growing need for additional mental health services in our community," said Nathan Vooys, chief executive officer of the hospital. "Benbow will work closely with our sister facility, Dominion Hospital, to expand these services throughout Northern Virginia."
