Noah Epps Advances To Live Show Portion of 'America's Got Talent'

Noah Epps, a 12-year-old dancer and actor from Ashburn, has advanced to the live show portion of the "America's Got Talent" variety show.

ASHBURN, VA — Noah Epps, a 12-year-old dancer and actor from Ashburn, has advanced to the live show portion of the "America's Got Talent" variety show.

During the "Judges Cuts" episode broadcast on NBC Tuesday evening, Epps received word through a remote connection that he had been selected to continue on to the live shows as the judges reduced a field of about 100 qualifiers to 44.

Noah and the other 43 contestants will perform over four weeks of live shows beginning Aug. 11.

Noah, a rising seventh grader at Ashburn's Stone Hill Middle School, performed in person in Los Angeles during the audition round of the show before the coronavirus crisis hit. The show where he performed aired on NBC on June 16.

Epps wowed the judges with a marionette-style dancing routine. His solo performance on the June 16 episode has already gotten more than 91 million views on Facebook and almost 51 million views on YouTube.
