STERLING, VA—Save a blip on Tuesday, Northern Virginia's work-week weather forecast calls for continued heat and plenty of sunshine that's expected to last through the Memorial Day weekend. So says the National Weather Service and other area forecasting outlets.
We begin with a Monday that more or less feels like the past couple of days, but relief should come Tuesday when, as the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang points out, temperatures drop, followed by "Partly cloudy and much more comfortable (conditions) at night, with little humidity and lows in the mid- to upper 50s."
