Patricia Louise Apicelli, 57, passed away on August 24, 2015. She was the daughter of Helen and Alfred Apicelli, both deceased. Patty, originally from New Castle, PA, earned her nursing degree and spent several years as a registered nurse. After having children, she devoted herself as a stay at home mother while developing hobbies in quilting and baking.
She enjoyed traveling the world and cheering for Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburg Steelers. After her children left home, she began volunteering both within the community and at her church, Leesburg Community Church. There, she taught Sunday school, volunteered with Vacation Bible School, and developed many cherished friendships. She is survived by Marc Rossi, her daughters Nicole Jarrell and Marilyn Simulescu and her grandchildren, Charlie, Emily, Ashley and Ryan.
