Pedestrian, 83, Dies from Crash in Ashburn: LCSO
John A. Schloegel, 83, of Ashburn, has died from injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in a crosswalk in Ashburn.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA— The victim who was struck by a vehicle in Ashburn on November 10 has died from his injuries, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
John A. Schloegel, 83, of Ashburn, was walking his bicycle across a crosswalk when he was struck by the
driver of a 2016 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on Gloucester Parkway at about 7:05 a.m.
He was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and passed away on November 12.

The driver, August L. Amurao, 55, of Ashburn was charged with reckless driving, according to the LCSO.
