Primary Elections In Loudoun County: When, Where To Vote

Polls will be open in Loudoun County on Tuesday, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you're in line by 7 p.m., you'll still be able to vote.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — All registered voters in Virginia are eligible to vote in Tuesday's Democratic Party Primary.

The primary will determine which candidates will appear on the Nov. 2 ballot in the following statewide races: governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, as well as local representatives to the Virginia House of Delegates.

The northeast corner of Loudoun County will vote to select a Democratic nominee for the House of Delegates in the 34th district. Incumbent Kathleen Murphy faces a challenge from Jennifer Adeli.

The 86th district, which includes an area in Loudoun east of Sterling, also hosts a primary election. Irene Shin is challenging incumbent Delegate Ibraheem Samirah.

Before heading to the polls, voters can check their registration status online, and they can also find their polling place and find out what identification they'll need.
