Robbers Hit Two Loudoun Gas Stations Monday Night
In heists at an Exxon and a Sunoco, the thief stole cash and fled on foot, says Loudoun sheriff's office.

ASHBURN, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) is investigating a pair of gas station holdups Monday night in which the robber stole cash and fled on foot. One occurred at about 8 p.m. in Ashburn, and the other took place at about 10 p.m. a few miles away in Sterling, according to a police report.
In the first robbery, at an Exxon in the 43000 block of Parkhurst Plaza, the victim told deputies that the robber flashed a black handgun and demanded cash. He was described as male, wearing all black and had his face covered.
In the second robbery, at a Sunoco in the 20000 block of Hardwood Forest Drive, the victim said a male suspect entered the gas station armed with a handgun. He stole cash and cigarettes; the LCSO describes him as about 5 feet 4 inches tall and wearing a black sweatshirt and black hat.
