'Smash and Grab' Robbery at Dulles Town Center Jewelry Store
LCSO is searching for four suspects who reportedly used a sledgehammer to break into Fink's Jewelry Store Tuesday afternoon.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a smash-and-grab style larceny that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a jewelry store in the Dulles Town Center.
Deputies responded to the lower level of the mall around 2:40 p.m. where four unknown males reportedly entered the Fink’s Jewelry Store using sledgehammers. The suspects struck a jewelry case, removed numerous high-end wristwatches and fled the scene in what is described as an older model Jeep Cherokee later found abandoned in the Dulles Eastern Plaza area. The vehicle was reported stolen from Fairfax County.
The suspects, all described as black males, are believed to have left the scene in a separate vehicle. Officials conducted a ground and aerial search with the assistance of the Fairfax County Police Department helicopter. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Detectives are working with federal and other local law enforcement agencies to locate the group, which is believed to be connected to other thefts in the region.
