'Steer Your Career' Event in Loudoun Set for Oct. 6
Job seekers interested in careers in law enforcement, banking or aviation tech are invited to a panel discussion in Leesburg on Oct. 6.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Are you looking for a new job or career change? Job seekers are encouraged to attend the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center’s Employer Panel Discussion scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., at the Shenandoah Building, 102 Heritage Way, N.E. in Leesburg.
This “Steer Your Career” Employer Panel Discussion will provide job seekers and those interested in changing or advancing their career with the opportunity to learn more about the law enforcement, banking, and aviation technology industries, and to network with the local employers.
Three local employers will share information regarding their organizations, job openings, job requirements and candidate qualifications.

- Sgt. Latriviette Young will discuss how the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement services to the community through the “Step Up Strategy” of improved service, technology, efficiency and professionalism. She is recruiting for deputy sheriffs.
- Elena Flax with Sandy Spring Bank is recruiting for bank tellers, account managers and mortgage bankers.
- Cheryl Kossman will represent Defense Technology Equipment, Inc., which specializes in international aviation logistic support and aftermarket sales of spare parts. She is recruiting for an equipment buyer and a bilingual receptionist.
