Stone Bridge HS rowing team kicks off 2021 season with a BANG!

After a long COVID-induced absence from competition, the Stone Bridge High School rowing team from Ashburn, Virginia competed in the Regional Regatta at Sandy Run Regional Park on the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax Station, Virginia, on May 16, 2021. SBHS competed in 8 races and placed in 6 of them.

The Women's Novice 8 and Novice 4 boats, and the Men's Junior Varsity 4 boat, took 1st place in their races; the Men's Junior Varsity 4x boat took 2nd place and the Men's Varsity 4 and Junior Varsity 8 took 3rd place in their races. The SB Rowing Team's next race will be at the Walter Mess Regatta at Sandy Run Regional Park on May 22, 2021.
