Stone Bridge Rowing Team ‘Holds the Line’ – and then some

Team builds on last week's success with all 8 boats placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the May 22nd Walter Mess regatta with 30 schools represented

The Stone Bridge High School rowing team from Ashburn, Virginia built on its mid-May success at the Walter Mess regatta at Sandy Run Regional Park on the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax Station, Virginia, on May 22, 2021. Charged with “holding the line” on the team’s initial success, SBHS competed in 8 races and placed in all 8 of them.

The Women's Varsity 4, Men’s Junior Varsity 4, and Women’s Novice 4 boats took 1st place in their races; the Men's and Women’s Novice 8 boats took 2nd place in their races; and the Men's Varsity 4, Junior Varsity 4x, and Junior Varsity 8 took 3rd place in their races. The SB Rowing Team's next event is the Darrell Winslow Regatta at Sandy Run Regional Park on May 29, 2021.
