
Thomas K. Holland Sr. passed away on October 21, 2015 at his apartment in Leesburg, Virginia. He joins his wife Bernadette “Bunny” Holland in passing.
Affectionately known as “Big Tom” or “BT” to his friends and family, he is survived by his father, William Holland, and Step-Mother, Shirley Holland of Holland, Michigan, four children, Thomas Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama, Colleen, Nicole, and Sean, all of Ashburn Virginia. He shared the joy of his five grandchildren, Hillary, Stephanie, Natalie, Cyndi, Chris, and one great-grandchild, Kiara. Tom is also survived by his brother, Ed Champion of Minnesota, and five sisters, Patricia Surrette of Missouri, Nancy Holland, Denise Lamb, Lisa DeWilde of Michigan and Patrice Holland of Florida.
In addition to Bunny, he was preceded in death by his mother Eileen champion, and older brother Billy Holland, and twin-brother Donald Holland.

For several years Tom refereed and coached soccer, basketball, and baseball in the Chantilly area. He also enjoyed watching his son play and coach soccer and watch his grandchildren play soccer and participate is several sports. Recently he enjoyed playing Texas-Hold-Em and Trivia at many local establishments.
His family hopes you can join us for a memorial service at Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Immediately followed by a reception at the Lakes Community Center in Ashburn.
