Trump National Golf Course​ Fairway Vandalized, Fire Marshal Investigating

The damage was discovered early on Election Day, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Few details were released.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA —The fairway at Trump National Golf Course suffered undisclosed damage, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, just hours before the Republican candidate's surprise win in the presidential election.

The golf course is located on Lowes Island Blvd. in Sterling, Va. Deputies say the vandalism occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.

The damage is being investigated by the Loudoun County Fire Marshall's Office.

No further information is available while the investigation is underway, according to Laura Rinehart, public information officer for Loudoun County Fire & Rescue.
