Vehicle Hit by Construction Equipment Carried on Truck: LCSO
A woman was transported to a hospital after the vehicle she was driving was hit by a construction beam being carried by a truck in Ashburn.

ASHBURN, VA — A woman was transported to a hospital after the vehicle she was driving was hit by a large construction beam being carried by a construction truck in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say that on Sept. 13 at 4 a.m. LCSO responded to the intersection of Claiborne Pkwy and the Dulles Greenway for a crash involving a CMV-Truck which was transporting a large construction beam.
The truck was making a turn from the stop sign on to southbound Claiborne Parkway from the Dulles Greenway. As it did so, a small passenger sedan was driving southbound on Claiborne Pkwy when it struck the beam while it was making the turn.

The driver of the sedan was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the CMV-Truck was cited for violation of a hauling permit, according to the LCSO.
