Vehicle Hits Good Samaritan Helping at Crash Scene: LCSO
A man was transported to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle after stopping to assist at a crash. The suspect driver fled the scene.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A man was hit by a vehicle after stopping to assist at a crash scene in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say that LCSO responded to the intersection of Harry Byrd Hwy and Countryside Blvd. on Sept. 14 at 12:47 a.m. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
Prior to the arrival of law enforcement, the driver of a third vehicle crashed into the stopped vehicles on the roadway and struck a man who had stopped to assist.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect driver fled the scene on foot.
