Volunteers Needed at Figure Skating Championships in Ashburn, Oct. 5-9

ASHBURN, VA — Volunteers are needed to help out at the 2017 South Atlantic Figure Skating Qualifying Championships, to be held in Ashburn from Oct. 5-9, according to Visit Loudoun.

Featuring 381 competitors from across the region looking to advance to the sectional championships and 2017 U.S. Championships, the event will be held at the Ashburn Ice House.

Volunteers are sought to serve as Rink Monitors for the competition and for the official practice sessions. Music Players are also needed for Official Practice sessions.

Each volunteer will receive free admission for the entire competition along with an event t-shirt and water bottle. Students may receive a letter/have their forms signed to acknowledge their volunteer contributions.
