Weather Closes COVID-19 Test Sites, Vaccine Clinics in Loudoun
Loudoun County cancelled COVID-19 testing and vaccinations on Thursday, Feb. 18 in anticipation of inclement weather across the county.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Winter weather is impacting the Loudoun County operations on Thursday, Feb. 18. The county announced that it has cancelled testing events and vaccine clinics that were scheduled, and the county's COVID-19 call center will also be closed, according to a news release.
The county planned to host a testing event at Cascades Library on Thursday, but that event has been cancelled. The county is hosting other testing events next week on Tuesday, Feb. 23 and Thursday, Feb. 25. The testing events will be held at the Dulles South Recreation & Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding VA. The sites will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
To register for future testing events, residents can use the forms on the county's website.

The county's vaccination will also be closed on Thursday, Feb. 18. The county said that anyone who had a vaccination scheduled for Thursday will be contacted via email or phone to reschedule their appointment.
The county's COVID-19 call center will not open on Thursday. Additional information about the county's vaccination plans is available on the county's website.

Loudoun County's courts will also be closed on Thursday. The affected courts include the Loudoun Circuit court, the General District Court, and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
