Braddock Town Hall On Coronavirus Vaccine Planned

Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu will be on hand to discuss the vaccine rollout and answer questions along with Supervisor James Walkinshaw.

BURKE, VA — Braddock District Supervisor James Walkinshaw will host a virtual COVID-19 town hall on Monday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu, the Fairfax County health director, will participate.

Dr. Addo-Ayensu will join Supervisor Walkinshaw to discuss Fairfax County's COVID-19 vaccine rollout and vaccine distribution strategy. Residents can have their questions answered as well.

The town hall comes as the Fairfax County Health Department launched a new dashboard providing more data on the vaccine rollout and wait list. The health department continues to take pre-registrations for phase 1a and 1b groups eligible for the vaccine who live or work in the Fairfax Health District. Fairfax County residents should continue to use the Fairfax County health department's pre-registration form rather than Virginia's new statewide form.
