Burke Lake Park Facilities Open Weekends, Bathroom Upgrades Begin

BURKE, VA — Burke Lake Park's facilities are now open on weekends, and the marina bathrooms are getting an upgrade, according to the Fairfax County Park Authority.

Starting in April, Burke Lake Park's various facilities are open weekends, including the marina rentals, train, carousel, and mini golf. Facilities will be open on weekdays starting on Memorial Day, May 31.

The park authority also closed the bathrooms at the marina for renovations starting on April 7. The work is expected to take around four weeks.

During renovations, portable bathrooms will be available at the marina. Other bathrooms at Burke Lake Park will remain open, and signs will direct visitors to those bathrooms.

Burke Lake Park admission is free for Fairfax County residents, and non-county residents are charged on weekends and holidays from April to late October. There is no charge for non-county residents on weekdays from April to late October. Activities like the train and marina rentals have associated fees.
