Prince William County Police arrested a resident of Burke yesterday on charges of abduction and malicious wounding.
According to police reports, at 1:41 a.m. Monday, John Reginald Bryant III, 26, of Burke, allegedly punched a 20-year-old Dale City woman in the face while he was driving. Bryant then drew a knife on the woman, who was an acquaintance.
Reportedly, Bryant then cut the woman on her arm and refused to let her out of the car. After pulling over at the 7-11 convenience store at 14410 Minnieville Rd. in Dale City, the woman called police.

Bryant is charged with abduction and malicious wounding. Court date and bond information are currently unavailable.
