Girl Scout Cookie Sales Coming Up In Burke
It's Girl Scout Cookie season, and Burke residents can buy them online from a local troop or at upcoming booths.

BURKE, VA — Girl Scout Cookie season is here, and you may be wondering how to get your hands on a box of Thin Mints, Samoas or other favorites.
Girl Scouts kicked off the 2021 cookie season with socially-distant and contact-free ways to purchase due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Options include virtual cookie booths, drive-thru locations, shipping, and delivery orders through a new national collaboration with Grubhub.
Online cookie ordering launched nationwide on Feb. 1 so cookie lovers who don’t know a Girl Scout can still purchase cookies from a local troop with direct shipment to their homes. In Burke, residents can contact a local Girl Scout, find a local troop to order from or visit a booth on upcoming dates. Cookie booths open on Feb. 5 to March 14 for the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital.

"This season, our girls will continue to exemplify what the cookie program taught them—how to think like entrepreneurs, use innovative sales tactics, and pivot to new ways of doing business when things don’t go according to plan."
