Lake Braddock Advances, Beats Robinson 35-14

Bruins move to 10-1, next face Hayfield in playoffs.

BURKE, VA — Lake Braddock aced its opening test Friday night in the 6A North Region playoffs, beating Robinson 35-14.

Next for the Bruins is Hayfield, which beat Patriot 30-26 Friday.

Lake Braddock's win was a rematch of the Sept. 16 meeting in which the Bruins beat the Rams 37-6.

Robinson (4-7) concluded the season having lost its past three games.

Lake Braddock (10-1) is No. 10 in the Washington Post area prep football rankings.
