New Year's Weather In Burke: Bitter Cold Won't Let Up

BURKE, VA—We may not have gotten a white Christmas, but it may not be too late to end the year with some snow in Burke.

What's even more likely will be temperatures continuing to drop as the region sees its coldest winter weather so far. If you're spending New Year's Eve out, get ready to bundle up with low temperatures in the teens.

Thursday night: Scattered flurries possible after 1 a.m. with clouds and a low of 14.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high reaching 33.

Friday night: A 40 percent chance of light snow with clouds and a low of 22.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of light snow with a high around 34.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low near 19.

New Year's Eve: The day will be mostly sunny with temperatures around 26.

New Year's Eve night: Temperatures will plummet to 11 with partly cloudy skies.

New Year's Day: Mostly sunny with a high near 23.

New Year's Day night: Clear with a low of 13.
